8.7 magnitude earthquake stuck in Indonesia

A massive earthquake struck off Indonesia's Sumatra island, prompting an Indian Ocean-wide tsunami alert and evacuation orders to clear people away from the coast.
The quake's magnitude was 8.7, according a revised reading from the US Geological Survey, and struck 268 miles (431km) off the Indonesian city of Banda Aceh where terrified residents poured into the streets.

Taiwanese woman kills self while on Fb(facebok)

A woman in Taiwan killed herself by inhaling poisonous fumes while chatting with friend on Facebook and none of them alerted authorities, the Associated Press (AP) reported Thursday.


Claire Lin killed herself on her 31st birthday, 18th march, Taipei police officer Hsieh Ku-ming told AP.

AT&T took another step toward filling out its 4G wireless broadband strategy with the announcement yesterday that it plans to spend $1.9 billion to buy wireless spectrum from chipmaker Qualcomm.
The new spectrum will be used to help build the carrier's next generation LTE network. This is the same technology that Verizon Wireless is using to build its 4G network.
